About Centerville Web Design
Centerville Web Design was founded early in 2009, by Fred Marion of Centerville, Ohio. Fred graduated from Wright State University, where he majored in creative writing. After four years as a journalist, he was given the opportunity to write a technology column for the Palm Beach Post in West Palm Beach, Fla. That got him tinkering with things like Web Design, Content Management Systems, Online Marketing, and Social Networking.
Not only that, he got to interview some of technology's icons, including Wikipedia founder, Jimmy Wales, Etsy's Robert Kalin, and Craigslist's, Craig Newmark. Inspired by their work and ideas, he was soon thinking more about Web Design than writing, so, for the next three years, he worked odd jobs, built freelance Web sites, and rapidly depleted his bank account.
It was worth it, though. The experience helped him hone his coding skills, and today Fred handles most of the design, coding, SEO and day-to-day business operations at Centerville Web Design. He also works closely with a small army of freelancers who help make the business possible.
